மிஸ்டர் ரோனி
கணினி அனிமேஷனை முதன்முதலில் உருவாக்கியது யார்?

1964ஆம் ஆண்டு, ரூதர்போர்ட் அப்ளெட்டன் லேபோரட்டரி, இங்கிலாந்தின் ஆக்ஸ்போர்ட்ஷையரில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இங்குதான் ஃபெரான்டி அட்லஸ்1 என்ற சூப்பர் கம்யூட்டர் இயங்கியது. அப்போது இதன் விலை 3 மில்லியன் பவுண்டுகள். இதற்கென இரண்டு மாடி கட்டிடம் தேவைப்பட்டது.

அட்லஸ் கணினியின் புரோசசர் 5, 600 சர்க்கியூட் போர்டுகளைப் பயன்படுத்தியது. ஏறத்தாழ தற்போதுள்ள சிப்களை விட 90 ஆயிரம் மடங்கு அதிகம். அட்லஸ் கணினி மூலம் எம்6 என்ற பாலத்தின் மாடல் அனிமேஷனால் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த படத்தை 1976ஆம் ஆண்டு ரஷ்யாவின் மாஸ்கோவில் நடைபெற்ற சர்வதேச தொழி்ல்நுட்ப திரைப்படப் போட்டியில் திரையிட்டனர்.
